One of the awesome things about working on a global team is that you can wake up to nice surprises about things being accomplished.
Like, this morning I found out that Sachit and Maneesh talked about designing a landing page, and the general marketing strategy. Also, Sebastian’s friend Yifei could possibly help us with the cover.
Great!
One problem is that sometimes you want information from people, and they’re not around.
How do you deal with this?
Well, you can just wait, but that kind of sucks.
We’re trying to come up with some things on the marketing end that depend on these answers. We want the marketing stuff to be done sooner rather than later, and it’s hard to start without getting these answers. We kind of can’t do anything on that front without those answers.
So waiting really sucks.
We want the book to be done by Wednesday, and there are only so many hours between now and Wednesday. We can’t do anything until we get something like these answers so…
What are we doing?
We’ll just think about the answers before we get them. Hopefully they agree, and if they don’t, then now we have a much more thought out starting point. We’ll have practiced our considerations, and the problem will have been attacked from multiple angles.
We’ll see how that works out.
